Architecture like this is an amazing example of the fusion between mighty pagan Celtic beliefs with the new dawn of early Christianity. This is the essence of the Celtic Cross. It is also interesting to note that these round tower sites are in fact testimony to one of the first pagan cultures in Europe to embrace the coming of the Messiah. Maybe because the Celts were also waiting for their prophesied savior as well. These round towers seem like lighthouses to the spiritual world. Maybe they are. Hail the Celts!
