Somewhere in County clare.This is one of the rare moments I got a little lost on my journey. Being raised in America reading signs in Gaelic in this Gaelic speaking section of Ireland was a little difficult for me this time out. Nevertheless in county Clare you will find some of the oldest settlements in Ireland, in fact some of the oldest in the world. And what you see in front of you is the results of over seven thousand years of history! Thousands of years of wars, Irish weather, and man tilling the soil and land over and over again to form its haunting beauty that you see today. Aye that's Irish.
