This functional medieval castle sits perched atop a cliff that crashes into the Atlantic Ocean in the town of Doolin, in County Clare on the West Coast of Ireland. If you follow these cliffs south that is to your left looking at this picture, you would discover the famous majestic Cliffs of Moher.(images of Cliffs of Moher in gallery 3) It isn't too far at all to get there from here in fact. What is special about the town of Doolin is its value of traditional Irish music. Here you can find real Irish players playing real Irish music, some that pre-dates this castle itself. The life of traditional Irish music was born in these parts and is surely still alive and well. The pubs are filled with Irish players that come from all over Ireland to play with reverence this unique Irish Music held so dear to the blessed Irish. Festival time is an absolute blast! Hail traditional Irish Music!
